And we're thankful for many things, including this day in music history....legendary composer Hoagy Carmichael was born (1899) reggae bassist Aston Barret was born (1946) and more birthdays still: guitarist Little Steven (1949), bassist Tina Weymouth (1950), Jason of the Scorchers (1958), drummer Rasa Don (1968)..... which saw Miles Davis debut at Carnegie Hall (1957)....the Beatles released "The White Album" (1968) and had also released their 2nd album on the same date in 1963....Prince released "The Black Album" (1994)....
