That first night when the instructors introduce themselves in Bryson Gym, I heard Scott Ainslie sing "Wayfaring Stranger." It was one of those performances that one never forgets. Not many performers can give you goose bumps and make your scalp tingle. I shall never forget that night, nor the lessons I learned from Scott about the history of the music and playing the music at that and following gatherings. He is indeed a national treasure.
